The Lamb’s Agenda

The past twenty years we have witnessed many efforts by professing Christians to bring moral reform to our nation through political activism. We have seen intense governmental lobbying and a flood of books, magazines, newsletters, videos and tapes calling for a return to traditional American values. Leading proponents have invaded the media and drawn large crowds at public appearances and seminars. But the moral condition of our society has not improved. It has grown worse! It is time to turn from fantasy to fact. The insatiable lust of our unbelieving society may very well erupt into proportions that would embarrass even Sodom and Gomorrah. Believers will no doubt find themselves an increasingly hated minority in a culture dominated by licentiousness and greed, for “All men will hate you because of me” (Mat. 10:22). And harassment and abuse is inevitable, for “everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted” (2 Tim. 3:12). And yet, if instead of parading the placards of political partisanship, we “lift high the royal banner” that bears the precious Name of Jesus Christ …BOLDLY, AND WITHOUT COMPROMISE! God himself will render certain that we become “more than conquerors through him who loved us” (Rom. 8:37). When it comes to the current debate over the relative merits of politics vs. the gospel, there is no contest. It is time for us to respond to the religio-political rhetoric with a renewed resolve to “search the Scriptures” and to “test the spirits to see whether they are from God” (1 John 4:1). Adding new laws or enforcing old laws will not make sinners morally responsive, but changing hearts and minds will and that is the business of the gospel of Jesus Christ, not politics!

We need men of God who will preach the saving Gospel of Jesus, in stadiums, convention centers across America.

Jesus preached a saving Gospel. So that once a man’s soul or a woman’s soul is right with God, it matters very little what the externals are. He was not interested in a new social order, but in a new spiritual order …the church. And he mandated the church to carry on the same kind of Ministry. “And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. (Revelation 12:11)

I want to first express the deepest honor to the message given by Samuel Rodriguez and also to the comments anonymously given in reply. May the Lord Jesus bless each of you abundantly for the precious words of truth from the heart of the Father.

While meditating on the “Lamb of God” and the purpose of such scriptural language, I begin to think of seven requirements of the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, which had to be met in order that each of us could be redeemed from our sins.

The first requirement is found in I Peter 1 which reminds us that the person who would be accepted and divinely vindicated as the Lamb of God would be “foreordained before the foundation of the world…” Second, Peter tells us the person must be as a “lamb without blemish and without spot.” Third, Peter writes the lamb’s blood must be shed or spilled for “without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness”. Fourth, according to the type and shadow in the book of Ruth, the redeeming lamb had to be a near kinsman. Fifth, Isaiah prophesied of how the lamb would be manifested “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign, the virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son…” Sixth, the lamb had to be Immanuel, God himself made flesh. And finally number seven, after all the requirements were met, Apostle Paul writes in I Corinthians 15 “and if the Messiah has not been raised from the dead, then our message means nothing and your faith means nothing”.

This is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is the Lamb’s agenda. He fulfilled and manifested it to the letter. This divine agenda was foreordained before the foundation of the world, before mankind, before Lucifer’s rebellion, before the sin in the Garden, before human philosophy and religious hypocrisy, before human leadership, before politics, and before the kingdoms of this world would be in the Satanic perverse condition they are in the 21st century. The LORD God assured and swore by himself that man’s fallen influence and sinful foolishness and corruption could not interrupt the incorruptible agenda set forth by the Lamb of God. “The LORD Almighty has sworn, surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand”.

Our kinsman redeemer, Immanuel himself conceived the body of flesh he would live in, be born of a virgin and fulfilled every jot and tittle of the law and manifested every prophesy, which foretold his coming. This is why the Eternal Holy Spirit exalted that body he lived in so high as the scripture says “And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father…So let everyone in Israel know for certain that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, to be both Lord and Messiah!”

This is the Lamb’s agenda. The Republican, Libertarian, Independent, and Democratic parties had nothing to do with this agenda. Satan’s Nazism couldn’t touch it, his Fascism, humanism, Communism or no other ism can defame it or destroy it. The LORD God, Elohim foreordained this himself by his infallible Word and his Spirit. He said “You will call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins”. As our Brother Samuel stated “There were some “propheliars” who once declared we wouldn’t even be here right now. Communist leaders declared that by the 21st century the whole world would be communist and there wouldn’t be a Christian alive. The Nazis declared that the Third Reich would outlast the church of Jesus Christ. In the 1960’s an English rock band said that by the 21st century they would receive more adoration than the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost combined. Well, guess what? We’re in 2012. Lenin is dead. Hitler is gone, the Beatles are gone, but the church of Jesus is still alive and well”!

The Gospel of the Lamb of God is still the same yesterday, and today, and forever. Whosoever will let him come and drink of the water of life freely. Jesus Christ raised from the dead as he promised. He has been confirming his resurrection for almost 2 thousand years. Sinners continue to be saved and filled with the Holy Spirit. Sons and daughters of Jesus Christ are standing on the earth in the 21st century manifesting his word in flesh. Blind eyes continue to be opened. Deaf ears are unstopped. The captives are set free. The dead are raised. The Gospel is preached in its power and purity and disciples are still following the Lamb.

The world has blacked out by rejecting the light. This lukewarm age has put Christ, the pure word, on the outside and accepted a Hollywood form of godliness. The Babylonian harlot’s cup of iniquity is overflowing. But the Bride of Jesus Christ stands as an invincible army. The light of Jesus Christ is burning brightly in her vessels. The wise virgin has the oil of the Holy Spirit. She is illuminated and her revival is on. John wrote “And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shining in his strength.”

Behold the Lamb! Supreme Deity on display.

“And when I saw him, (the Lamb) I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that lives, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death”.

“When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord lifts up a standard against him.” Risen, Conquering Lord. Ever Present Father. Maker of Human and Beasts. Maker of all life. Never unsure of what to do. Loved The World so much that He gave us His Son, to die for us that we Might live. And for those who don’t know Him, He is the only way to Heaven, the only one to bring forgiveness of sin, The Way, The only Way, The Truth and the Life. John 3:16 Without Him, nothing impure can enter Heaven. The time is short, now is the time of Salvation. Take, eat and receive your fill and know that you have a place in Heaven, for the redeemed. And Jesus says “Come. Come and be saved that you might experience the Joys of Heaven and Everlasting life with Me.” amen. There is no other truth but in Him.
